I get the question all the time "why are your prices so low"?
Its rather easy actually volume and overhead. I buy more water softeners then any other water softener company and run a low overhead.
In the water treatment business, softeners sell in stores for 5-10 times what is cost to produce them. That's right a softener that cost $400 to make sells for $1500 or more in a water softener store. Most of that $1000 plus is made up of distribution costs. Water softener stores mark up is very high, often 50% or more. Plus softener brands have extra costs when they sell to softener shops due to road reps, credit, shipping, catalogs, etc...
I help the manufacture cut costs by purchasing truck loads, paying cash and not needing a road rep or salesmen. Plus my operating costs are very low, so I can sell at almost no mark up.

How Salt water softeners work.
Water Softening Process
Hard water enters the water softeners mineral tank, from the well or city. As it passes through the resin inside the mineral tank, the
hard water minerals are attracted to the
resin and the water is softened to service
the home.
Regeneration Process
When the resin becomes saturated with
hard water minerals, the water softener system automatically goes into regeneration. This
is the process that frees the resin of hard water
minerals, making it ready to soften the water
again. Brine water is drawn into the tank and rinses the hard water minerals off the resin and down the drain. Once the resin is free of hard water minerals, fresh water rinses the remaining brine water out of the water softener, leaving it ready for service.How Salt Free water softeners work.
The Filtersorb SP technology in the Salt Free Pro transforms the calcium and magnesium carbonate (temporary hardness) of the water into mechanically stable and heat resistant calcite crystals nanometer in size and so small that they can only be seen under a microscope, which no longer cause lime deposits. The calcium and magnesium crystals are rinsed away.

The “classical” water-softening unit operates on the basis of ion exchange, exchanging calcium and magnesium ions in water with an equivalent amount of sodium. The benefit of owning a water softener.
The difference between metered on-demand water softeners and timed water softeners.
Metered on-demand water softeners regenerate according to your water usage. So if you use more water the water softener regenerates more and if you use less water the water softener regenerates less. This is truly the most efficient water softener saving you money on salt and water.
Timed water softeners regenerate on a set schedule. For example every 3 or 4 days. Timed water softeners are an economical choice and sometimes the better choice for water with heavy iron present. When there is heavy iron present in the water a consistent backwash is recommended to prevent the resin bed from fouling.
